Not brand new but nearly. lol <br />Himdownstairs has wanted one for ages. The one we have now is 9 years old and not in bad nick. So, in about 10 days or so, we will be riding around in it. <br /><br />This all came about because the battery in our old one conked out on Saturday night. R.A.C. came and jumpstarted the car so we could get home So yesterday, I rang the garage we use and bless them, the chap said he would come to the house, start the car and we could take it to the garage. <br />Really good service I thought, he was at our house in under a quarter of an hour. <br /><br />So, while it was being seen to, himdownstairs decided to look at other cars, just to pass the time. <br /><br />Just so you <em><u>don't</u></em> worry about me, I'm on day one of the no smoking. I have actually, smoked 30 cigs since New Year's Eve. Not good as I want to stop but good for me really. Got a few things for Christmas. Cards and a few pressies.<br /><br />But before that I was in the paper shop and a lady was looking at Christmas cards. She liked the look of one box but wondered how much the stamps would cost. I thought, "How silly" then I remembered that the cards would have to be a certain size or we would have to pay more in postage. <br />It wasn't her that was silly, it was me for forgetting. <br />I do apologise Mrs Unknown Lady. <br /><br />Had my hair done earlier, this wind and rain has ruined it! Not a happy bunny. lol <br /><br />Enrolled Nurse back at work tomorrow. Ah well, it will make time go easier, as I am still trying not to smoke, yesterday I left patch off and had a few cigs.
