Did it!
Well, we did it, we have ordered a new car! Not brand new but nearly. lol
Himdownstairs has wanted one for ages. The one we have now is 9 years old and not in bad nick. So, in about 10 days or so, we will be riding around in it.
This all came about because the battery in our old one conked out on Saturday night. R.A.C. came and jumpstarted the car so we could get home So yesterday, I rang the garage we use and bless them, the chap said he would come to the house, start the car and we could take it to the garage.
Really good service I thought, he was at our house in under a quarter of an hour.
So, while it was being seen to, himdownstairs decided to look at other cars, just to pass the time.
Just so you don't worry about me, I'm on day one of the no smoking. I have actually, smoked 30 cigs since New Year's Eve. Not good as I want to stop but good for me really. Those 30 would have lasted me 3 days before then.

Shopping for Christmas.
Went out in the wind and later on, the rain. Got a few things for Christmas. Cards and a few pressies.
But before that I was in the paper shop and a lady was looking at Christmas cards. She liked the look of one box but wondered how much the stamps would cost. I thought, "How silly" then I remembered that the cards would have to be a certain size or we would have to pay more in postage.
It wasn't her that was silly, it was me for forgetting.
I do apologise Mrs Unknown Lady.
Had my hair done earlier, this wind and rain has ruined it! Not a happy bunny. lol
Enrolled Nurse back at work tomorrow. Ah well, it will make time go easier, as I am still trying not to smoke, yesterday I left patch off and had a few cigs. Silly me. If at first you don't..........................
